The legend.  The legend of the Phoenix, a mystical and revered bird embodying immortality through resurrection, is found in many ancient civilizations.  Its origin can be traced back to India and Indonesia, in which the ancient Egyptians continued the spread of the legend.  Ancient Greeks and Romans soon discovered the story through the Egyptians. There is a Jewish and Christian version of the legend as well, made popular by salvation and life after life.

Regardless of version, one thing is common: it is a bird where every few centuries upon the end of its life, it sings a sweet song and builds a nest of cinnamon, frankincense, and myrrh for its egg. It then awaits for the glorious sun to send enough heat to set the nest, and itself, on fire. As one phoenix selflessly sacrifices its life, it leaves this world, and another breaks free -- rising from the ash as a new, reinvigorated majestic bird.

It is this where we draw some of our inspiration from. There is something divine about dedication and sacrifice. This is executed with our commitment to not be status quo, but as an industry leader.
